I am a graphic designer – print / identity / web – occassional photography – you know how it works – and I need to share why some clients just totally suck.

I am in video/motion design and the clients on my end are exactely the same. Keep it up.

This is too funny. I am a makeup artist and get the same crap. Just with a different twist. Your blog made my day. I just had a client try to talk me down on my prices and told me to just skip the foundation part! Like that will make up for all the other supplies, travel, millage, and time.
in my line of work, i deal with every one of the types of clients you have identified.

But I’ve had many more, and am still working with one. He’s not computer savvy, so I end up doing a lot more than originally intended/charged for.
I’ve had to change my terms of service page multiple times. We just need to learn from our clients-from-hell, and bid the next one right.
